  Installing Your Alarm System
The wiring and cabling of your alarm panel with movement detectors and other sercurity devices is carried out through the wall cavity and roof area. The cables are terminated at the location of the control panel.

Wiring Detectors
The keypad, detectors, smoke alarms and other devices and the main control panel are then terminated at their respective locations. At the control panel, individual components and devices allocated to individual zones.

ie. Master bedroom detector = zone 3


Testing The New System
After installation, the security system is programmed and tested back to the control room (if you require your system to be monitored) and the you are given verbal instructions on the systems use, and a user manual.

Programming Your Codes
User codes are programmed and can be changed or added as required. Security warning stickers are applied to the building.

Power Points, Telstra and Cables
A power point and Telstra socket are also installed at the control panel location, and a 16 volt transformer is plugged in and a 12volt 1.5 amp battery is used back up in case of power fail.

The cable used is 14020 security cable (14 strand copper ) which is recommended by Australian standard 2001.
